I was very impressed the first time I read it and I look at it more calmly now. Most of the advice is standard practice today and the book does not know that.
What still earns its place are the metaphors, broken windows and stone soup; they are useful when explaining technical debt to a team.
Three stars: not because it is bad, but because it became ordinary.
