Seeing Like a State

Queued. I have run into quotations from it in a few places, and the idea described points straight at something I keep circling: systems simplified so that a centre can read them, then broken by that very simplification. I think standardisation arguments in software repeat the same pattern, but I do not want to write that before reading the book.
