Two hundred pages and one idea: complexity is buried in depth. A good module has a narrow interface and a deep body.
The most valuable part is where it argues openly against Clean Code. It says that past a certain point the “small functions” rule does not reduce complexity but scatters it, and it is right.
Four stars because it repeats itself; the same idea arrives six times with different examples.
